How do I report a user?
iPhone or iPad: Open the chat, tap the three dots in the top right, choose Report user, and select the reason.
Web chat: Open the chat and select the person's name or avatar to open their profile. Choose Report, select a reason, add relevant details if needed, and submit.
Reports help Anichat address conduct that breaks its rules and can lead to account restrictions. Reporting and blocking are separate actions. If you want to stop contact from that account, block it as well.
How do I block a user?
iPhone or iPad: Open the chat's three-dot menu and choose Block user. Swiping left on a one-on-one chat in Recent and deleting it also removes and blocks that user.
Web chat: Open the person's profile from the chat, choose Block, and confirm. The chat is hidden. Use this when you do not want further contact from that account.
How do I unblock someone?
iPhone or iPad: Open the Settings tab, go to Blocked Users, and remove the person you want to unblock.
Web chat: Open Blocked Users from the chat sidebar and choose Unblock for the person. On a narrow screen, return to the chat list to find the sidebar options.
How do I find a chat again?
iPhone or iPad: Previous conversations appear in Recent. To mark a favorite, open the chat's three-dot menu and choose Favorite user. Find that conversation in the Favorite tab.
Web chat: Use the star in the chat header or choose Favorite user in the person's profile, then confirm. Select Favorites above the chat list to find marked conversations; All shows the full list.
Favoriting makes a conversation easier to find. You can keep chatting inside Anichat without exchanging phone numbers or social handles.
I cannot sign in or start chatting
Use the sign-in method associated with your account. If you registered with email and forgot your password, use the password-reset option on the sign-in screen.
On the web, follow any email-verification and profile-setup prompts before chatting. Check your spam folder if the verification email has not arrived. Anichat is for adults 18+.
If you still need help, email support with your account nickname or registered email, whether you use the app or web chat, and the error you see. Include your device and app or browser version. Do not send your password or verification codes.
Why can I not open a photo or video on the web?
Web chat supports text conversations. Media messages show a prompt to open Anichat on iPhone or iPad; the web chat does not currently display those photos or videos. Media availability and viewing controls are handled in the iOS app.
Where do I check Premium features or cancel a subscription?
Review the Premium offer in the iPhone or iPad app for its available features and price. The web chat does not offer a subscription checkout. See where to check prices before buying.
For an Apple subscription, open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select Anichat to manage it. Our subscription help links to Apple's current cancellation instructions.
Where do I ask about privacy or account deletion?
Read the privacy policy for information about data handling and deletion requests. Send privacy questions or deletion requests to privacy@anichatapp.com. Manage any Apple subscription separately through your Apple subscription settings.
