Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to Anichat mobile applications and website services. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that may be accessed through Anichat.
Information collected is subject to the policy in effect when it is collected. Anichat may revise this policy from time to time. If material changes are made, notice may be posted on the website, through the services, by email, or by another notification method.
User Provided Information
Anichat obtains information you provide when downloading, registering, and using the app. Registration is required to use the application.
Information you provide may include name, email address, age, username, password, registration information, transaction-related information, purchase or offer responses, information sent when contacting support, purchase-related information, and information entered while using the app.
Anichat may use information you provide to contact you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.
Anichat does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If Anichat learns that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, steps will be taken to delete it as soon as possible.
Information may be transferred to and maintained on computers in the United States or another country where Anichat services are operated.
Automatically Collected Information
The application may collect information automatically, including device type, mobile IP address, mobile operating system, browser type, and usage information.
The website may use cookies to identify the browser and improve use of the services. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when cookies are being sent, though some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.
Location Information
The mobile application may use GPS or similar technology to determine your current location and provide relevant content. Anichat does not share your current location with other users or partners. You can turn off location services in the app settings or in your mobile device settings.
Third-Party Access and Disclosure
Aggregated, anonymized data may be transmitted to external services to help improve the application and service. Information is shared with third parties only as described in the policy.
User provided and automatically collected information may be disclosed when required by law, when needed to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, respond to government requests, work with trusted service providers, or handle a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Information may also be shared with advertisers, advertising networks, and analytics companies as described below.
Automatic Data Collection and Advertising
Anichat may work with analytics companies to understand app usage, including frequency and duration. Anichat may also work with advertisers and advertising networks that use information about interactions with ads to help keep the application available at low cost.
Identifiers and other app-related information may be used for analytics and advertising. Encryption may be used to help protect anonymity, and third parties may obtain anonymous information such as other apps downloaded, mobile websites visited, non-precise location information, and similar data for analytics and ad serving.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop collection of information by uninstalling the application through the standard uninstall processes available on your device or app marketplace.
Data Retention and Managing Information
User provided data is retained for as long as you use the application and for a reasonable time afterward. Automatically collected information may be retained for up to 18 months or more and then stored in aggregate.
To request deletion of user provided data, contact privacy@anichatapp.com. Some user provided data may be required for the application to function properly.
Children
The application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information without consent should contact privacy@anichatapp.com.
Security
Anichat uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information that is processed and maintained. Access is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need the information to operate, develop, or improve the application. No security system can prevent every possible breach.
Changes and Consent
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted is treated as approval of those changes.
By using the application, you consent to processing of information as described in this policy, including collection, storage, deletion, use, combination, disclosure, transfer, processing, and storage in the United States or elsewhere.
